Realm of Thorns was started in late 2022 by Cindy and Ethan. Our first show was a show called THERE WILL BE BLOOD hosted at the West Adelaide Football Club, and featured CHRIST DISMEMBERED, STOVED, SMOKE NO FIRE, SONS OF EREBUS and ATLAS FALLS.

After our first show, we were determined to create outstanding live music events akin to the events of the late 90’s and early 2000’s with a 100% DIY drive.

We hosted a second show at WAFC then our first step into large shows happened on January 28th 2023 at The Bridgeway Hotel. This event was called COSMIC WASTELAND and it consisted of 14 bands. While exhausted, we knew we had found our passion in the live music scene.

Since our inception, we have hosted 96 bands over 37 events, including multiple full day festivals, holiday themed shows, and small intimate shows.

Since the end of 2025, Realm of Thorns have begun dipping our feet into International shows and are loving it.

Realm of Thorns always puts the band, the fans and the scene first. We know, without them, there is no Realm of Thorns.
